Background

 

Dane, a doctor and inventor of the Wall Tower Exerciser, is an inventor who already has other manufactured products on the market.  As a workout fanatic, while liking the setup of the existing tower exercise products on the market, Dane felt that most of them were too big and awkward to use and transport.

Feeling a need in the market, Dane brainstormed and developed his own home made prototype versions of his envisioned tower exerciser to meet these needs.  Please with the testing of his own proof of concept prototypes Dane then hired DCP to develop a higher quality prototype for his product that he could use to make final product design decisions before moving forward with a small production run.

Product Design & Prototyping

During the design & prototype process many adjustments and refinements were made to the design to improve functionality, increase user-friendliness and also make it easier to assemble and break down for storage & transport.  Once the prototype was received by Dane and the final design for production approved, Dane hired DCP to assist him with a small manufacturing run for his product.

Manufacturing Project

In the first stage of manufacturing a production sample of Dane's Tower Exerciser was made and shipped to him from the overseas manufacturing resource we connected him with.  Once Dane approved the first production sample the rest of the units for the limited production run were completed and shipped to Dane.  Once received, Dane began reaching out to major fitness product companies in hopes of developing a strategic partnership to launch his product on a large scale.  While Dane developed strong interest from a major U.S. fitness and entered negotiations, a deal was unfortunately not consummated.
