Website Script - Draft 1 - 6-5-19
When Mike contacted Dirt Cheap Prototypes he was interested in developing a high-quality virtual prototype video to demonstrate and explain his concept for a stylish, wearable wrist band that had slots in which interchangeable inserts could be placed to allow the user to share their moods, interests, beliefs, favorite sports teams and any other interest they may have.
While most videos are short, narrated 60 to 90 seconds, Mike decided he wanted a more impactful branding style video with a bit of “attitude”. So our team created a virtual prototype video with powerful music and overlaid wording embedded in the video to explain all of the product possibilities.
Once the video was completed, we embedded the video on a website so that Michael could quickly and easily share his presentation with anyone, anywhere.
Just a few weeks after the video was completed, Mike had a flat tire and stopped in at a nearby restaurant while waiting for help. While seated at the restaurant Mike struck up a conversation with the person sitting next to him and then mentioned his product and shared his short video with them. They were blown away by his concept and formed a partnership with Mike to develop his product.
Mike and his partner have gone through several prototype iterations and are now working towards their final production tooling in order to perform a small production run.
“Working with DCP has been a very positive experience. They have put a lot of time and effort into helping me develop my product and get me where I am today. I recommend DCP to anyone who is looking for a cost-effective way to develop a prototype and presentation for their product that they can use in their efforts to attract investors and partnerships.
